This symposium focuses on innovative approaches to meet the aims of the 12 principles of green chemistry established by Paul Anastas and John Warner in the late 1990's. Topics will include environmentally benign approaches to manufacturing products, creating chemical reactions, and treating waste. The event also encompasses novel green materials development: materials that are not only green to produce (from sustainable feedstocks, using green manufacturing principles), but are green throughout their lifecyle and designed for innocuous degradation at the end of their function.
This symposium is a jointly hosted by the Cleantech 2012 and Nanotech 2012 conferences.
Selected Nanotech Proceedings papers will be reviewed and invited into a Special Issue of the Journal of Experimental Nanoscience. The journal provides a showcase for advances in the experimental sciences underlying nanotechnology and nanomaterials.
For consideration into this Special Issue of the Journal of Experimental Nanoscience, please select the “Submit to Journal of Experimental Nanoscience” button during the on-line submission procedure.
