This technology allows for the increased performance, by up to 20%, of adsorbent materials for energy gas storage such as Methane or Hydrogen. The technology leverages the additionality of C2 to C10 hydrocarbons into the porous material system design.

GOVT/EXTERNAL FUNDING SOURCES
Government Funding/Support to Date: To date, framergy's technology was the result of DE-FC36-07GO17033, DE-AR0000073 & DE-AR0000249. Of particular focus is DE-AR0000249, which is an ARPA-E MOVE grant to the Zhou labs at Texas A&M University. This grant was used to develop CONEKTICTM and a variety of high methane uptake MOFs, which are exclusively licensed to framergy. Further government and ARPA-E funding at the Zhou labs will benefit to framergy. (DE-AR0000203)
