Our product is a fully functional enterprise software system to enroll and manage (fraud) doctors and hospital systems who provide services for patients. The application was built 100% through crowdsourcing processes. The product is being marketed to states (medicaid/medicare) and health insurance companies nationally. The product is offered as SaaS.

Value Proposition: The combination of crowdsourcing and select, mature open source software delivers high quality enterprise software very quickly and at a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches. The provider enrollment application we have built allows state governments and healthcare payers to identify fraud at the earliest possible point in time.

Government Funding/Support to Date: The original application was built as a stand alone medicaid/medicare management module for the state of MN through funding from the federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB). The project also involved Harvard Business School (Crowd Innovation Lab at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science) to research and inform best practices in crowdsourcing and open innovation in technology.
