Sleep deprivation in military resulting in mental anomalies. Traumatic brain or head injury in sleep deprived soldiers exacerbate brain pathology. Our innovation showed that co-administration of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone and cerebrolysin enhances neuroprotection following concussive head injury induced brain pathology in 48 to 72 h sleep deprived cases.

Value Proposition: We need help from industries to produce combination of a-MSH and cerebrolysin that could be delivered using nanotechnology. This also remains to be seen whether a-MSH or cerebrolysin may be delivered using nanotechnologies separately or mixed with each other may have same beneficial effects on brain injury.
