Summary:Printable electronics have great potential to revolutionize the electronics industry. Various printing methods are adapted to make electronics and electrical devices such as transistors, sensors, OLEDs, RFIDs, displays, solar cells and batteries, on various substrates including both rigid and flexible materials. Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are important electrical components, providing conductive connectivity among numerous electrical and electronic devices. The traditional PCB industry has been evolving and looking for more robust and environmentally-friendly PCB technology. This talk will introduce a digital additive manufacturing approach to make printed circuit boards (PCBs).
