Victor Frenkel

I received my PhD in Agricultural Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel in 1999. I then spent four years as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute in Baltimore, MD and two years as an Imaging Sciences Training Program fellow at the Clinical Center, National Institutes of Health. For the next six years I was a staff scientist at the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the NIH Clinical Center, and headed the focused ultrasound program. Before joining the faculty at the University of Maryland, I was a tenure-track, Associate Professor for three and a half years at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
