Summary:
-Background: Recent Cosmetic industry developed material generating small electricity. When a customer dispenses cosmetics on skin and rubs it, small amount of electricity is generated to facilitate absorption of cosmetics and improve wrinkle care. However, it is difficult to see if so called electricity generating cosmetics actually generates electricity. While many customers look for cosmetic products that generate small electricity, they want to see if the cosmetics actually generate electricity. -Problem to be solved Conventional piezoelectric measurement device can only measure piezoelectric property of solid state material by giving a pressure on the solid material. However, it is difficult to measure piezoelectric property of liquid/viscous materials since liquid/viscous materials escape out when a pressure is given to the materials. Also, the customers have a desire to see and check if the so claimed electricity generating cosmetics are actually generating electricity to have advantageous effects. By checking whether the cosmetics actually generate electricity, the customers can believe that the cosmetics are effective and still usable. -The Present Invention: The present invention relates to a pumping device or cosmetic container that can measure piezoelectric properties for liquid/viscous materials inside the pumping device and show the piezoelectric property of the liquid/viscous materials. The pumping device/cosmetic container includes a nozzle head to dispense liquid/viscous materials outside of a container, a first and a second electrodes to measure charge quantity of piezoelectric material included in the liquid/viscous materials when the liquid/viscous materials are moving, a control circuit for converting the measured charge quantity into voltage signal and amplifying the voltage signal, and an indicator for showing status information of the piezoelectric material. With the pumping device/the cosmetic container according to the present invention, customers can check if the electric generating cosmetics actually generate electricity. 1) Ability to measure the piezoelectric property of liquid/viscous materials with specialized structure comprising a first and a second electrodes to measure charge quantity of piezoelectric material included in the liquid/viscous materials when the liquid/viscous materials are moving. 2) With the indicator (for example, LED connected to the electrodes) lighting up when the piezoelectric liquid/viscous materials are moving through the nozzle, customers can assure that the cosmetics are being effective and still usable. 3) The indicator can be disposed on the nozzle head, on the neck of the container or other areas of the cosmetic container, and the electrodes can be disposed on anywhere the liquid/viscous materials are moving. Thus, there can be many variations of the invention.
