Timothy Swager is the John D. MacArthur Professor of Chemistry at MIT, and is a co-founder of C2Sense supporting the startup as a consultant. He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed papers and has more than 60 issued/pending patents. A major focus of Swager’s research in electronic organic materials is the demonstration of new conceptual approaches to the construction of sensory materials. These methods are the basis of the FidoTM explosives detectors (FLIR Systems Inc), which have the highest sensitivity of any explosives sensor. He is the co-founder of 4 companies and has served on a number of corporate and government boards.
