There can be many unique resources available to you at nearby universities. Resources can include analytical tools, state-funded industrial outreach programs, incubators, or enterprising and energetic faculty. The Cornell Center for Materials Research (CCMR) is one of several centers at Cornell University which operate materials characterization labs. The CCMR has over $34M in shared instrumentation which is professionally managed by expert staff, and available to any researcher. This talk will provide an overview of research capabilities at Cornell University, industry outreach resources and incentives, as well as analytic capabilities unique to the CCMR facilities.
