William (Cy) Wilson

William (Cy) Wilson received two A.A.S. degrees one in Electronics Technology, and one in Instrumentation Technology. He is a graduate of the NASA Apprentice School, and has a B.S. degree in Applied Physics as well as a M.S. in Applied Physics and Computer Science. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. He has been employed at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton VA for 20 years, where he has designed electronic circuits, digital electronics, FPGAs, and ASICs for wind tunnel applications, ground test instrumentation, and satellite instruments. He is currently working as a researcher in the Non-Destructive Evaluation Sciences Branch. His current research interests include the application of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices, and Wireless sensor network technology to non-destructive evaluation of aerospace vehicles.
