Dr. Yiliang Wu is a Principal Scientist at Corporate Technology Materials Group, TE Connectivity. His research interests are in advanced electronic materials, additive printing processes, as well as surfaces & interfaces of printed electronics. Before joining TE Connectivity, Dr. Wu was a Principal Scientist at Xerox Research Centre of Canada, where he led printable electronic materials research at the center, and developed a materials package including organic semiconductors, nanoparticle conductors, and dielectric materials for thin-film transistors, printed sensors, etc.
Yiliang obtained his Ph.D. in polymer science from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Japan) and did postdoctoral research at Queens University (Canada). He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, 3 book chapters, and holds more than 180 US patents. Currently he is also an Adjunct Professor at McMaster University, Canada.
