Brad Lusk, PhD is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO and co-founder of Precient Technologies, LLC. Precient is a biotechnology company that uses microorganisms in a membrane biofilm reactor to remove and recover valuable and harmful metals from contaminated water while providing access to clean water for the world’s most vulnerable people. Brad has published in several peer reviewed scientific journals investigating the electrochemical interface between biotic and abiotic materials with an emphasis on extremophilic microorganisms. He is a former fellow of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine at the US Naval Research Laboratory and is a current Science and Technology Policy Fellow with the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
