TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

Researchers at the University of Central Florida have invented a suite of technologies that allow accurate, remote, real-time temperature measurements of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) on components used in extreme operating conditions, for example the blades in turbine engines.
