A Superior Method to Correct Atmospheric Degradation of Satellite Imagery

TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

Automated analyses of satellite imagery are hampered by atmospheric haze effects. Our innovation corrects images of any satellite cubesat, hyperspectral to surface reflectance more accurately, over 3x the range of atmospheric effects, and in 1/10th the time. Comparatively, the existing state-of-the-art image correction functions poorly and never in near real-time.
