Summary:

The development of new styrenic block copolymers is a resource intensive process whereby customer desired properties, structure-function relationships, and commercial scale-up complexities make for a highly iterative development cycle. Opportunities to break out of the current, more experimentally based approaches are needed to speed time to market and to provide better insight for more ambitious technological advances. A description of PolyFTS, an SCFT simulation package, and its use in applications such as industrial synthesis, complex fluid investigations, and polymer blending studies will be presented.
