C. Mark Maupin received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Utah. After completing a postdoc with Gregory Voth, he joined the faculty at the Colorado School of Mines in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. In 2017 he left academia for an industry job at P&G. Mark is currently a Senior Scientist in Corporate Functions R&D working in the Data Modeling & Simulation Department. Mark’s research is focused on using multiscale modeling techniques in combination with machine learning approaches to understand and predict microbial efficacy in the presence of P&G products.
