Jean-Mathieu Pin obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the Université Cote d’Azur, in France, with the European label, as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow.
After two postdoctoral experiences at the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre, in the University of Guelph, and at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, in the University of Toronto, Canada; he joints Polystyvert venture in 2019 as Director of Research and Development, in Montréal, Canada.
Author of about 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and patents, his interests include biopolymers design, waste valorization, polymer recycling, as well as fundamentals of polymer structure-properties relationships.
