Tom Dower, Vice President, Public Policy for LanzaTech, Inc., has over 25 years’ experience in Washington, DC in government and industry, specializing in energy and climate policy. Prior to joining LanzaTech, he spent almost a decade as senior director, government relations for ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel and mining company. He previously served 15+ years in the U.S. Senate for Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA), the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, and the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science & Transportation for Chairman Rockefeller (D-WV). He was also VP for Lighthouse Consulting Group representing the US Climate Action Partnership and energy sector clients. Tom holds degrees from Keystone Jr. College and The American University.
