Dr. Lei Zhang is a Distinguished Research Associate at ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering Company. She focuses on fundamental catalysis research in energy industry. She is currently responsible for various staged R&D projects such as lube hydrodewaxing and low emission fuels and leads joint efforts in cross-function teams for developing R&D strategies and innovative technology solutions. She received her BS degree in Polymer Science/Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, MS and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and MBA degree from Rutgers Business School.
