TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

We are developing a low cost underwater lidar system for use on small ROVs and AUVs. The lidar being developed is an RGB lidar which can produce a 3D color image of the ocean bottom. This is useful for subsea mapping, exploration, and conservation.
