Currently, a Double Vacuum Debulk (DVD) process is used to repair damaged composite components. This process limits repair size, is expensive and creates logistical challenges. Luna Labs has developed a wet layup, on-part repair procedure that generates superior repair quality. Formal qualification of the developed process has been initiated.
