Summary:
The focus of this talk will be the rapidly changing ESS and industrial markets based on the deep understanding of the rechargeable battery market for 30 years by Avicenne Energy. The battery market is evolving as Lithium-Ion Batteries are reaching mass commercialization. Emerging technologies based on Sodium, Zinc and Flow Batteries are beginning to have their opportunity to establish a different value proposition than Lithium-Ion. The talk will focus on the rapidly expanding use of energy storage systems (ESS) to support the capability of the grid, DC Fast Charging, and a wide variety of commercial/industrial applications.
