Summary:
The Dew-Point Distillation (DPD) technology can be applied for multiple purposes, it’s primary application is desalination/ brine concentration, however, it can also be used for rain and wastewater purification, juice and lactic acid dewatering and many other applications. In the pilot project described below, DPD system purifies rain water and grey wastewater for gymnasium at primary school in Boguszow- Gorce in Poland. The system is equipped with two DPD units, with 1 m3/day capacity each. DPD system was verified by an independent third party company and by Polish National Centre for Research and Development. The tests confirmed good water quality and energy consumption of 1.5 kWh/m3.
