Lin Zhao is a research scientist at Dow. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at The Ohio State University with the research focus of developing advanced membranes for water desalination and gas separation. Lin joint Solids Processing Group at Dow in 2015 and has been recognized as a subject matter expert in fluid/particle separation internally and externally. He has extensive experiences from fundamental R&D study through laboratory evaluation/development, process design, pilot trial, to production-scale implementation which includes major site startup and reliable operation. In the past a few years, his expertise and responsibility have been extended to carbon capture and water sustainability. Lin has served in the American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS) as a member of the Board of Directors, the Publication Committee Chair, and a Conference Co-Chair.
