Tim Finley is a Global Technology Principal at Dow Inc. who provides technical leadership and internal consulting support as part of Dow’s Environmental Technology Center. He has degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has spent 32 years with Dow working on many of the company’s more challenging water, wastewater and process cooling problems and projects around the globe. Tim has a true passion for water, technology, improving water management practice and sustainability. Career highlight’s for Tim include: Collaborative support for the development of Dow Inc’s 2050 water goals, conception and technical oversite for the design, construction and start-up of more than $2 billion dollars of water assets, including a 40 MGD Seawater Desalination Plant, to support a Dow and Saudi Aramco Joint Venture in Jubail Saudi Arabia; two decades of continuous improvement support for Dow’s extensive fleet of cooling water systems, design, construction and start-up of a 25 MGD pUF filtration plant in Freeport Texas; conception, design, permitting, financial planning and soon to be construction of a 60,000 acre-ft ring dike reservoir, water supply planning engagement and consulting for numerous Dow Site’s around the globe and three decades worth of projects to continuously improve the quality of discharged effluent from numerous Dow facilities around the globe.
