Alex Brown has a passion for building and managing teams capable of delivering exceptional and innovative solutions to challenging problems. He has 14 years of experience providing guidance and strategic mission support on the development, operations, and technical execution for a variety of USG sponsored programs and acquisitions. Alex has held roles as a contractor to the DoD and BARDA, as well as positions with industry, which include years of connection with Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs) and consortium models. His diverse career spans military combat casualty research and infectious disease surveillance to medical countermeasures infrastructure and supply chain readiness. Through his varied background, he has developed an aptitude for interfacing stakeholders to improve program operations, strengthen relationships, and develop strategic alignments to identified gaps/requirements.

 

Alex earned his Bachelor’s in Health Sciences from Boston University where he was a scholarship NCAA Division I wrestler and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also the Founder and Managing Director for an Outdoor Industry Alliance in Texas that connects and engages a $48B state industry sector to reinforce the economic impact, foster collaborative partnerships, increase private investments, and catalyze innovative solutions across recreation infrastructure.
