Mr. Morris is a Senior Principal Engineer at Precise Systems with over 22 years of combined Department of Defense weapons systems experience as Active Duty Navy, US Government Civil Service, and Contractor Support. Mr. Morris graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; he went on to obtain his Master of Science in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a Professional Engineer Degree in Systems Engineering from George Washington University. He has been working Open Architecture as part of NAVAIR PMA-209 Air Combat Electronics Program Office since 2011. In 2013, as a US Government Systems Engineer, Mr. Morris was the very first Lead Engineer for the creation of the Hardware Open Systems Technologies (HOST) Standard that is currently being managed by NAVAIR PMA-209. Since 2016, Mr. Morris has been a Precise Systems SME and supports NAVAIR with Open Architecture expertise. Mr. Morris is a founding member of the Precise Systems Center of Excellence – LAUNCH Engineering Cohort where he has utilized his engineering expertise to connect with fellow engineers to collaborate and share experiences.
