Jeffrey K. Hostetler is the Vice President of Engineering at Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Mission Solutions & Technologies business area with operations in fourteen of the United States and Wales, United Kingdom. In this capacity, he is responsible for the execution of all technical solution development. He has more than 27 years of aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering and project management experience in the aerospace industry.
Prior to SNC, Hostetler was employed at L3 Technologies as Director for Multi-Mission Aircraft Programs and Director of Army Programs. In the latter he was responsible for execution of the United States Army Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) ACAT II Program of Record. He was also responsible for the operation and sustainment of the Constant Hawk, TACOP LiDAR, and Army Liberty fleets of aircraft used in training and overseas military intelligence operations. He previously served as Chief Engineer for Army Programs, Project Engineer for the TACOP LiDAR development program, and Lead Systems Engineer for the Constant Hawk development program. He also served as lead Project Engineer for the capture of the EMARSS programs.
Hostetler earned his Master of Mechanical Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the General Electric Advanced Course in Engineering in 1998. In 1995, he graduated summa-cum-laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering.
