Jonathan is a lead systems engineer within the Avionics division of Collins Aerospace. He has over 20 years of experience leading Collins Aerospace engineering teams to continuously innovate system architectures and successfully execute development programs across a broad spectrum of new build and retrofit, fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft programs, in both a military and civil certification context. These experiences have developed a practical domain knowledge of common standards used in open systems, including DO-297, ARP-4754, ARP-4761, ARINC 661, MIL-STD-882. His current responsibilities include development of common approaches and reusable elements across the Collins Aerospace business segments, utilizing MOSA as the core DNA. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Electrical Technology from LeTourneau University, MBA from University of Iowa, and FAA certificates as a private pilot and A&P mechanic.
