Brandon Wehler is the Technical Director for the Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB). In this role, he oversees the Technical Director Office (TDO) with a technical vision for enabling agile, innovative technology services to PEO MLB. He drives the mission for providing services, policy and processes that enhance the continual evolution of technology adoption within PEO MLB.
Mr. Wehler came to the PEO from Navy ERP Financial IT Services portfolio (PMW 220), where he served as the Technical Director since 2018. While at Navy ERP, Mr. Wehler led the successful migration of Navy ERP to the AWS GovCloud, while also upgrading the SAP Navy ERP Central Component (ECC) system to Suite on HANA, resulting in a go-live 9 months ahead of schedule. Mr. Wehler was also responsible for Navy ERP’s sustainment operations and successfully stood up an SAP Center of Excellence (COE). In 2022, Mr. Wehler successfully led Navy ERP’s migration to a new cloud service provider (CSP) in 123 days from acquisition award to production cutover.
Prior to beginning his federal service career, Mr. Wehler worked for over 22 years in the private sector supporting Navy and Army systems. His background is in information systems, including IT program management, systems engineering, network engineering, and IT support services for development, coding and applications administration.
Mr. Wehler originally hails from Leonardtown, Md. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in information technology management, and additional certifications from Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Information Technology, Microsoft, RedHat, and CompTIA.
