Dr. Petros Kotidis is a Fellow and Senior Commercialization Advisor within NobleReach Foundation’s Emerge group, which was acquired from In-Q-Tel, where he also served under the same role prior to the acquisition. Dr. Kotidis has been in the high-tech industry for more than thirty years and has commercialized numerous technologies in Energy, Materials, Artificial Intelligence, Photonics, Safety/Security, Sensors and Life Sciences markets. Most recently, as President of Miracor Consulting, he advised small and large high-tech companies, for technology commercialization, capital raising and expansion into new markets. Prior to that, he served as the CEO of Block Engineering, a leader in laser-based, chemical analysis systems, driven by Artificial Intelligence. Before that, he was the VP of Business Development at Axsun Technologies, a high-tech, optical Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) company. He joined Axsun from Nortel Networks, a leading optical telecommunications company, where he led strategic acquisitions and corporate investments. He also worked at Textron Systems, a defense manufacturer of smart weapons, industrial sensors and optical systems, where he was responsible for the development and market introduction of new optoelectronic products.
Dr. Kotidis has Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Aeronautics from MIT with a minor from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He has been awarded 26 patents for various optoelectronic and algorithmic inventions.
