He is a seasoned researcher with a decade of experience and has multiple publications in the field of fusion energy. He earned his PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he specialized in liquid-metal plasma facing components and fusion engineering. Dr. Shone has established himself as an expert in these areas, contributing significantly to the advancement of fusion research. He is motivated to bring commercial fusion energy to reality through Tokamak Energy’s approach using a spherical tokamak design and high-temperature superconducting magnets.
