Hyacinth L. Lechuga is a Senior Research Specialist at the Corporate Research Analytical Laboratory (CRAL) of 3M Company in Saint Paul, MN. Since 2000, she has been a scientist at 3M's corporate lab, specializing in the application of atomic force microscopy techniques to a wide variety of 3M materials, including optical films, adhesives, thin films, membranes, and polymer blends. Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Lechuga earned her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Texas and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Sandia National Laboratories and the University of Texas at Austin.
