Sakthivel Arumugam leads Product Management team for Materials & Simulation Process & Data Management (SPDM) at Ansys, a global leader in engineering simulation software. In this role, he oversees the strategic development and delivery of Ansys solutions that enable organizations to efficiently manage their material & simulation data and streamline simulation workflows. Prior to joining Ansys in 2019, he spent over 6 years with GE Aviation’s Aerostructures business in UK where he held various roles with most recent being the Programme Lead for Additive Technology Implementation. During his time at GE-Aviation, he worked with various Aerospace OEM’s on certification and qualification of Additive Aerostructures components.
He holds Master’s degree in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University with domain expertise in design and structural analysis of Aerospace components.
