An experienced global healthcare and medical device industry professional. Kim has 25 years of experience, spanning multiple therapeutic areas, including neurology, cardiology, women’s and pediatric health. Before joining Vitara, Kim served as CEO of BrainCheck, a digital health company focused on the early detection of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. She was also a Venture Partner at S3 Ventures, supporting the firm’s healthcare investments. Previously, she was the CEO and Co-Founder of Acessa Health (acquired by Hologic) and CEO of Halt Medical. Kim led the largest business unit at Spectranetics (acquired by Royal Philips) and held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson. Additionally, she held senior positions at Blockade Medical, Concentric Medical, Guidant Corporation, and Microvena/ev3, each of which was later acquired by major medical device companies. Ms. Rodriguez received her Executive MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and bachelor’s degree in management from Pepperdine University.
