Full Professor at Department of Physics at Federal University of Piauí (UFPI); Affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) representing the Northeast and Espírito Santo regions. Graduated in Biomedical Engineering from University of Vale do Paraíba (Univap), 2005; Master's degree in Materials Science and Technology from National Institute for Space Research (INPE), 2008; and PhD in Physics and Chemistry of Materials from Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA), 2011. She has experience in the use of the photoacoustic technique and in the production and characterization of thin films for different applications. She has didactic-scientific experience in the area of Physics, Materials Engineering and Biomedical, in particular in the sub-area of nanobiomaterials and biocompatible materials. He coordinated the Graduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (PPGCM/UFPI) between 2020-2023.
