Dr. Warren Grayson is the Morton F. Goldberg Professor and Vice-Chair for Faculty Affairs in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Director of the Translational Tissue Engineering Center at Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, he did his post-doctoral training at Columbia University and PhD at Florida State University. His research interests focus on the stem cell-and biomaterial-based regeneration of musculoskeletal tissues. He has pioneered techniques for personalized, craniofacial bone regeneration and regenerating functional skeletal muscle following volumetric tissue loss. He is an elected fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biomedical Engineering and has also been recognized by the National Academy of Medicine as an Emerging Leader in Health and Medicine.
