Hansol Lee is a Senior Research Engineer at the Corporate Research Analytical Laboratory (CRAL) of 3M Company in St Paul, MN. She works in Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) group, specializing in the application of atomic force microscopy techniques to investigate the surface topography and mechanical/viscoelastic properties of various 3M materials, including adhesives, optical films, and thin coating. Before joining 3M in 2021, she earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and completed her Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering at the University of Georgia. Originally from South Korea, she completed her undergraduate studies in Biomaterials Engineering at Seoul National University.
