Dr. Zekun Liu serves as the Director of R&D at Claros Technologies Inc, an environmental startup company providing advanced analytical service and engineering solutions for PFAS wastewater treatment. Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering (2023) at UC Riverside where he focused on PFAS destruction in UV-based destruction and membrane-based separation process. Dr. Liu is the recipient of the Best ES&T Research Paper (2022), and leading PI for DOE SBIR program. At Claros, Dr. Liu leads R&D in IP acquisition and water treatment process design.
