Dr. Preeta Datta is the Director of Open Innovation for North
America at Evonik Corporation. She fosters strategic partnerships
throughout the regional ecosystem with the aim of derisking innovation in new
growth areas. She identifies new business prospects and strives for value
creation via collaborations.
Preeta holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering from the
North Carolina State University, and a Masters' from Indian Institute of
Science. Prior to Evonik, Preeta spent several years in the industry,
innovating and commercializing sustainable products. She has served as industry
advisor on boards of leading organizations such as Institute of Food
Technologists and Soft Matter Association of Americas.
