
Craig Lindemann’s work focuses on rethinking and reshaping the way textile products are developed, sourced, distributed, and used to address the environmental and social impacts of the industry. Craig holds an M.S. in Textile Chemistry from North Carolina State University, where his research focused on non-fluorinated durable water repellent textile finishes, as well as a graduate certificate in Socially and Environmentally Responsible Apparel Business from the University of Delaware.
For nearly two decades in the apparel industry, Craig has worked with industry leading brands, Under Armour, GORE-TEX Fabrics, and Reju, in roles spanning product R&D, supply chain integration, business model development, corporate sustainability, and technology scouting. He previously served on the governance board for The Microfibre Consortium and currently serves on the Advisory Board for The North Carolina Textile Innovation Engine.
Craig’s work is highly collaborative and combines experimentation and data with creativity and design to solve problems. He is based in Charlotte, NC and has recently launched a new textile development consultancy, FabricThereafter, to support textile technology startups with business strategy, product management, and prototype creation.
