
David Horn
has spent decades building relationships and strategic partnerships across
multiple sectors including broadcasting, communications infrastructure support,
and economic development. Throughout his career, he’s worked for some of the
nation’s top broadcast, communications, and technical services companies at a
national, regional, and local level. Through his role as the vice president of
operations and strategic partnerships, David works with organization investors
and partners to grow stakeholder engagement and identify and develop strategic
partnerships that are critical to mission success. Passionate about workforce
development, David serves as co-chair of Grow Local, a workforce development
initiative of the Greenville – Pitt County Chamber of Commerce, and leads
committee efforts for Better Skills, Better Jobs, an award-winning annual
career fair in partnership with Pitt Community College. He serves on multiple
boards, including being the chair-elect of the Greenville - Pitt County Chamber
of Commerce, BBB of Eastern Carolinas, Downtown Greenville Partnership, and NC
Coastal SHRM where he is also chair of the programs committee. He and his wife
have been back in Greenville since 2013 but met here some years ago when she
was in nursing school at East Carolina University. With many long-time
relationships across the community, treasured friendships across eastern North
Carolina, and a love for the ECU Pirates, both are here to stay and enjoy this
growing, vibrant community.
