Ray Ozdemir is Chief Operating Officer of framergy, Inc.,
where he leads the commercialization of advanced materials technologies
originating from leading universities and research institutions around the
world. During his 13 years with framergy, he has helped transform early-stage
academic discoveries into commercial products and manufacturing capabilities
serving customers in energy, environmental, and semiconductor markets.
Ray has extensive experience in technology licensing,
startup growth, SBIR/STTR commercialization, and strategic partnerships between
universities, industry, and government agencies. He has successfully negotiated
and secured exclusive technology licenses from leading research institutions,
including Texas A&M University, the National University of Singapore, and
CNRS in Paris, enabling the development and commercialization of innovative
Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) technologies.
He has led programs funded by the Department of Defense,
National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and Environmental
Protection Agency, helping bridge the gap between fundamental research and
market adoption.
His passion is building innovation ecosystems that enable
scientific breakthroughs to create lasting economic and societal impact.
