The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are the nation's largest source of early stage, high risk research and development funding for small businesses. These programs provide more than $2.5 billion annually in competitive award-based resources enabling small businesses to develop new technologies and facilitate the commercialization of innovation. For more information on the SBIR/STTR program, please visit SBIR.gov.
US-based conference registrants have the opportunity to request One-on-One Meetings with SBIR/STTR program representatives from the 11 participating federal agencies, federal labs, and defense prime contractors. One-on-One Meetings provide a platform to discuss how your technology aligns with agency funding opportunities, and identify next steps for participating in the program. You are encouraged to prepare for meetings by reviewing agency program structures, technology areas of interest, funding opportunities, and SBIR Tutorials.
