Consortium Membership

Consortia relieve some of the contractual burdens typically placed on contractors working for federal clients, making it possible for nontraditional contractors to participate in technology development.

The MCDC Consortium accelerates the US Department of Defense's fielding of prototypes for medical countermeasures. It was formed in response to the government's expressed interest to support DOD medical pharmaceutical and diagnostics requirements, as related to enhancing mission effectiveness of military personnel.
